Instrumental Teacher - Guitar

º£½Ç´óÉñ College is a Catholic Secondary College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with an enrolment of over 1700. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, suitably qualified musician to the position of Instrumental Music Teacher – Guitar.  This is a FTE 0.6 position, Fixed Term commencing in the 2025 school year.

The successful applicant:

-Will have the ability to teach Guitar

-Will have a strong working knowledge of Guitar Performance including Classical, Jazz and Rock styles and the ability to teach a variety of styles

-Will be comfortable teaching Year 7 – 12 students including VCE students

-Will have the ability to lead and direct a College guitar ensemble

-Will participate in school music events as required from time to time

-Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children

-Will have excellent communication skills

-Will have the ability to work successfully within a team

-Will have a current WWCC and Police Check

-VIT Registration would be an advantage.
